CX Foundation 2 Intensive with Basel Al-Naffouri and Rebecca Poretsky (#18-11-2866)

Schedule: 3 hours on Friday night from 7-10pm, 6 hours on both Saturday and Sunday from 10am-5pm (with a one-hour lunch break on both days)

Class Time/Dates: Friday, November 9th, 7pm-10pm; Saturday, November 10th and Sunday, November 11th, 10am-5pm; with a one-hour lunch break on Saturday and Sunday
Class size: 14 students maximum
Class length: 15 hours total of instruction
Prerequisite: Foundation 1

Foundation 2 focuses on refining your improv knowledge and skill set, reinforcing the concepts you learned in Foundation 1 through games, play, and exercises.

This course covers all of the content of the 6-week Foundation 2 class over three days.

While the emphasis is still on fun, course content also explores more conceptual and technical information and helps you build the skills you need to perform in front of an audience.

Students in Foundation 2 are recommended to read IMPRO by Keith Johnstone. Johnstone invented Theatresports, one of the core improv formats we play at BATS. The book is available from a variety of retail outlets, including Amazon.

BATS Improv Class Refund Policy:

Class cancellation policy:

• If you cancel more than 96 hours (4 days) before a class begins, we will refund your tuition less a 15% processing fee.
• If you cancel within 96 hours (4 days) of your first class, your tuition will be forfeit.

Summer Youth and Adult Sessions cancellation policy:

• If you cancel more than 14 days (2 weeks) before your first class, we will refund your tuition less a 15% processing fee.
• If you cancel within 14 days (2 weeks) of your first class, your tuition will be forfeit.

All cancellation and refund requests must be emailed to registrar@improv.org, and include the title and start date of your class.

In the event that we cancel a class due to insufficient enrollment, we’ll refund your tuition in full.

Please note: In the past, we have offered class credit in lieu of refunds. We are no longer able to offer this option. Each class tuition payment will stand on its own, and is non-transferable.
